Before-you-go guide

Plan your ticket, entry and return before you leave. Times and fees below are general planning references; follow the instructions for your show and ticket provider.

  1. Documents and essentials

Bring your ticket or QR code, photo ID, a transit card, some cash, spare light-stick batteries, a power bank, binoculars, a raincoat and personal medicine.

    ID and payment
Prepare your paper or mobile ticket, identity card or passport, payment card and cash. Some venues in Japan and Korea accept electronic payments; check whether options such as Suica or T-Money are accepted for your show.
    Fan items and viewing
Pack your official light stick, banners and spare batteries. Three AAA batteries are common, but check your own model. Consider 8–12× binoculars, or 10–12× for a large stadium. Bring the cable with your power bank.
    Weather and personal care
Pack tissues, wet wipes, throat sweets, a light raincoat and your usual medicines, such as pain relief, stomach or diarrhoea medicine, and plasters. Check local and venue rules before bringing chewing gum or similar items. Use a raincoat where outdoor venues prohibit umbrellas.
  2. Transport apps

Install the local transport app before you leave. Check live services, exits and disruptions again when you arrive.

    Check again at the station
Google Maps, Tokyo Metro, JORUDAN, Kakao Metro and Citymapper can help with planning. Confirm the exact station’s exits, first and last services and connections with the local transport operator.
  3. Merchandise queues

Popular light sticks and limited items may have early queues. Check the official sale time or collection slot before choosing when to arrive.

    Plan around the sale
A common reference for on-site sales is 10:00–11:00 on show day. Queues for popular acts, limited light sticks or photo cards may start around 06:00–08:00; for general merchandise, consider arriving 1–2 hours before sales open. Check whether the organiser permits early queues.
    Check collection reservations
If Weverse Shop or the official app offers a collection reservation, book your slot in advance. A merchandise queue is separate from the admission assembly time.
  4. Ticketing and security

Queue at the entrance printed on your ticket and allow time for security. Name-checked tickets need matching photo ID; keep items easy to inspect.

    The entry sequence
Find the entrance for your seating or standing area, then open your bag for inspection. Some venues use metal detector gates or handheld scanners. Staff scan electronic tickets or check paper tickets and matching photo ID where required. Collect any wristband or fan items, then find your seat or area.
    Allow enough time
For standing areas, use 3–4 hours before the show as a planning reference for numbered assembly; late arrivals may lose their priority order. For reserved seats, consider arriving 1.5–2 hours early, allowing roughly 20–40 minutes for ticket and security checks. Your ticket and show notice give the actual assembly time.

Ticket collection and lost tickets by country

The organiser and ticket provider set collection rules, not the venue. Lost paper tickets are usually not replaced. Named, reserved-seat and electronic tickets have different conditions. Save your order and check your show’s collection deadline and recovery options.

    Taiwan
    Venue examples
Taipei Arena, Taipei Dome, Kaohsiung Arena and Kaohsiung National Stadium.
    How to collect
7-ELEVEN ibon/FamilyMart kiosks, electronic tickets through providers such as tixCraft or Klook, and some on-site collection for named or overseas orders. Enter the collection references supplied with your order, print a slip and take it to the counter. The reference collection fee is about NT$30.
    When to collect
Convenience-store collection commonly opens 5–15 days before the show; electronic tickets may arrive after purchase or shortly before the event. A 24-hour store still depends on the ticket system’s deadline. Some on-site collection may continue 30–60 minutes after the start, but this is not a promise for every show.
    If a ticket is lost
Paper tickets are usually not reissued. For named or reserved-seat tickets, contact support or the venue desk with ID, complete purchase proof and a police report if requested. Admission may be assisted after identity and duplicate-entry checks, without a replacement paper ticket. Some handling is free, subject to the organiser’s response. Electronic tickets can be reopened in the app.
    Before you leave
Check your ticket type, collection deadline and lost-ticket process. Do not delay collection just because the store stays open.
    Japan
    Venue examples
Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, Saitama Super Arena, Nissan Stadium, Nagoya Dome and Marine Messe Fukuoka.
    How to collect
Lawson Loppi/FamilyMart printing, or official apps such as pia, e+ and AnyPASS. Some kiosk flows use a 13-digit collection number: print the slip, then ask the cashier for the admission ticket. Follow the reference shown on your own order.
    When to collect
Delayed issuance commonly falls 3–7 days before the event; electronic seat information may appear 2–3 days before. Print paper tickets before entry. Keep your phone charged, complete SMS verification and connect to the internet when the provider requires it.
    If a ticket is lost
Lost paper tickets are generally not replaced and admission may be refused. If a broken/replaced phone or lost number makes an electronic ticket unavailable, take your passport and purchase confirmation email to Information/問合せ窓口 before the show to ask about resetting verification. Help may be free, but recovery is not guaranteed.
    Before you leave
Complete phone-number and app registration before travelling. A photograph of a paper ticket is not a replacement admission ticket.
    South Korea
    Venue examples
KSPO Dome, Gocheok Sky Dome, Jamsil Olympic Stadium, Busan Asiad Main Stadium and Incheon Munhak Stadium.
    How to collect
On-site Box Office collection is common for overseas orders. Postal tickets usually require a Korean address; some providers, including Melon Ticket, offer electronic tickets. Bring your original passport and printed or electronic order confirmation with a matching name.
    When to collect
Opening and closing times vary by show; some arrangements require collection at least 30 minutes before the start. Aim to arrive at least 2 hours early and allow extra time for merchandise, light-stick pairing and identity checks.
    If a ticket is lost
If you have not collected the ticket and only lost the printed order, show your purchase email and passport at the Box Office; this collection generally has no extra fee. Already-collected or locally mailed paper tickets usually cannot be replaced. Ask the service desk, but strict identity checks mean recovery is not assured.
    Before you leave
Photograph the ticket after collection and keep the original safe. The photo is a record, not a substitute for entry.
    Singapore
    Venue examples
National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium.
    How to collect
Ticketmaster SG PDF/Print-at-Home, an app ticket wallet, or an on-site ticket counter. Present the phone QR code or printed ticket as required by your booking.
    When to collect
The QR-code email may arrive after purchase or 1–3 days before the show. Prepare it before entry and save a downloadable PDF on your phone in advance in case the network is slow.
    If a ticket is lost
A missing PDF or email can usually be downloaded or printed again for free from the original account. For a lost paper ticket, take ID and the purchasing payment card to the Ticketmaster Box Office to ask about reprinting. A fee of around SGD$10 may apply.
    Before you leave
Sign in and check that your ticket opens before travelling. Keep your own order details available.
    Thailand
    Venue examples
Rajamangala National Stadium and IMPACT Arena.
    How to collect
ThaiTicketMajor (TTM) outlets/on-site collection or electronic tickets. Some shows issue souvenir plastic tickets. Bring your payment card, passport and order confirmation for counter collection.
    When to collect
Some tickets can be collected between purchase and show day. A common on-site opening reference is 3–4 hours before the show. Card-exchange queues can be long; aim to finish at least 1 hour before the start and follow your order’s actual collection window.
    If a ticket is lost
For a lost collected plastic or paper ticket, TTM may require a police report, passport and payment card at the TTM Counter. The reference replacement fee is about 200–300 THB. Ask the ticket provider for your show which documents are required and whether replacement is possible.
    Before you leave
Keep the collected card ticket safe and have the payment card, order and passport ready for checks.
  5. Transit card and return plan

Load enough for the return trip before entering and check the last service. Do not leave the return ticket until after the crowd leaves.

Top up and buy the return ticket
Top up EasyCard/iPASS, Suica/PASMO, T-Money or EZ-Link before the show; a buffer of at least twice the round-trip fare can help. Buy single, high-speed rail or train tickets for the return before departure or entry.
    Avoid the busiest station
Crowd controls at the nearest station can mean waits of more than 45 minutes. Check whether walking 10–15 minutes to an adjacent station, or travelling 1–2 stops in the opposite direction before connecting, suits your route. This does not guarantee a shorter queue or a seat; check last services and extra fares.
    Alternative station examples
For Tokyo Dome, compare Suidobashi with Kasuga or Korakuen; the reference walk to an alternative is about 6–8 minutes. For Taipei Dome, compare Zhongxiao Dunhua or Taipei City Hall. Choose according to your actual exit, street access and direction of travel.
    Taxis and ride-hailing
For Grab, Uber, Kakao T or DiDi, avoid setting pickup at a crowded main gate. Road restrictions may prevent access or cause cancellations. Compare a major landmark, 24-hour convenience store or hotel about 800 metres or 10–15 minutes away, choosing a safe location where vehicles can legally stop.
    Shuttles and buses
If your show provides an official departure shuttle, check its stop and schedule in advance and follow staff directions after leaving; some buses depart when full. If you miss the first departures, compare rail or a safe walking route instead of waiting indefinitely.
  6. Luggage storage

Leave large bags at your hotel or a station one or two stops away. A small bag is much easier to move with after the show.

    Store bags before entry
Venue lockers can have long collection queues after the show. Consider your hotel or storage 1–2 metro stops away. Check opening hours, sizes, fees and the final collection time before setting off.
  7. Emergency exits and safety

Notice the side or emergency exit nearest your seat when you enter. In crowds, rain or illness, follow staff instructions.

Know the route and follow staff
The nearest exit may differ from the main entrance you used. Notice open side and secondary exits. Use emergency exits as instructed; do not enter restricted passages to catch a train. Do not push against managed crowd flows.
  8. The first 15 minutes after

Pack your things and drink water. Either leave early or sit for the first wave to clear, then confirm your return route before moving.

If you want to leave early
During the last 1–2 encore songs, pack your fan items and move your backpack to your front. Leave calmly when permitted. Leaving early may avoid around 30–60 minutes of queuing, but this is not guaranteed; do not run or block other guests.
If you want to see the full show
You do not need to rush straight to the main exit after the final moment. If staff allow, rest, write down your memories or take photos where permitted, and wait about 20–30 minutes for the first wave to clear. Check last trains, storage closing times and the venue’s clearing instructions first.
